Rates
Rates for one-on-one therapy sessions:
50 minute session: $180
75, 85, and 115 minute sessions are also offered (some prefer to meet for longer, less frequently, to allow for deeper therapeutic work while in session, with more time between session to integrate the work outside of therapy)
Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards are accepted methods of payment. HSA and FSA funds can be used to pay for therapy.
Insurance
I am not in-network with insurance companies in the State of California, however, I will provide you with the necessary information should you choose to submit your own claims for out-of-network reimbursement.
To receive more information about your plan's out-of-network coverage and what to expect, contact your insurance provider and ask the following:
Is reimbursement offered for out-of-network behavioral health services?
If so, at what percentage?
Must a deductible amount first be met and what is this amount?
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
